When the post is copied but not saved yet the comments are disabled, just like the source page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When\nthe page is saved, the comments are enabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The ‘Copy\nto’ option instantly saves the copied page and here also the comments are\nenabled, while these were disabled at the source page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On a page the ‘Save as template’ option can be found at the ‘Save as draft’ menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Selected on\na page where comments are turned off results in a duplicate page with comments\nare turned back on!<\/p>\n\n\n\n I manually\nturned comments off and saved the template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When a new\npage based on this template is created but not saved yet the comments are\ndisabled, just like the source page. When the page is saved, the comments are\nenabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Comments are\nalways enabled when duplicating pages, regardless of the comments setting on\nthe source page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It’s not\npossible at this moment to control the comments setting when duplicating pages\nwith different comments settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Comment settings can be turned on and off at all pages at higher levels, like web and tenant.
